World Of Warcraft For Molten Servers

World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the fourth released game set in the fantasy Warcraft universe, which was first introduced by Warcraft: Orcs & Humans in 1994. World of Warcraft takes place within the Warcraft world of Azeroth, approximately four years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard's previous Warcraft release, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft on September 2, 2001. The game was released on November 23, 2004, on the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise.

The first expansion set of the game, The Burning Crusade, was released on January 16, 2007. The second expansion set, Wrath of the Lich King, was released on November 13, 2008. The third expansion set, Cataclysm, was released on December 7, 2010. At BlizzCon in October 2010, lead producer J. Allen Brack announced that there would be a fourth expansion set for the game, though the developers did not yet know what it would be about. On October 21, 2011, the fourth expansion set of the game, Mists of Pandaria, was announced at Blizzcon 2011 by Chris Metzen.

With 10.3 million subscribers as of November 2011, World of Warcraft is currently the world's most-subscribed MMORPG, and holds the Guinness World Record for the most popular MMORPG by subscribers.

OPTION 1:

1.Download WoW

2. Open installer and select world of warcraft(install the expansions after)

3. Let it install and just wait (this is a very long process because WoW over all is about 20 gigs with all expansions and updates)

4.While this is going on i suggest you make an account on a private server. this is the one i use and its the best up and running one thats out, everything is the same as the official blizzard server on the normal molten realm, and they have fun instant level 80 realms and faster xp if you want to do that instead. www.molten-wow.com make an account on the left side by hitting register and thats it.

5. Install expansions and update the game all the way up to 3.3.5

6.When its finally done, you must change the realmlist. go to
Code
C:\Program Files\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft\Data\enGB (or where ever you installed it)

and open realmlist.wtf with notepad. delete what is in it and paste "set realmlist logon.molten-wow.com" now close it and hit save

7. Open up WoW and log in with the info you put in to molten and enjoy!
NEVER open wow using Launcer.exe!
ALWAYS use Wow.exe.
Launcher will automatically try to patch to the latest version..

How To SUCCESSFULLY Patch 3.3.5 - 4.0

*This is for people with a working 3.3.5 Client of World of Warcraft*

Step 1. Make a copy of your World of Warcraft 3.3.5 WOTLK folder and paste it to a new destination on your local C:/ drive. i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Cataclysm\World of Warcraft This may take a few minutes so be patient. It is well worth the time incase you want to play on another private server or mess up during the patching.

Step 2. Make sure you are set to the public retail realmlist. You can find your realmlist by navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\Cataclysm\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS. Open your realmlist with notepad and delete whatever is there and type

Quote
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

and save it. If you are unable to save it you may have to move realmlist to your desktop when trying to save and then move it back to C:\Program Files (x86)\Cataclysm\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS.

Step 3. Start the WoW launcher. It will patch you from 3.3.5 to 4.0.0. If you are missing the launcher, you can download it here.

Launcher.exe

Once you start the launcher it will download the patch and then the blizzard updater bar will appear. This will take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete.
*NOTE* This is cruicial! Do NOT leave your computer when updating to 4.0.0, because as soon as it is complete it will open the Cata Launcher and begin patching something you don't want patched!
As soon as you see the Cataclysm Skinned Launcher immediatly exit out of it.

Step 4. You will now need to download all of the patches to update from 4.0.0 to 4.0.6

Step 5. At this point I highly incourage you to disconnect your internet to avoid any unwanted patching from happening prior to the patches you are installing. In numerical order you want to apply the patches. You can do this by moving the exe from each download into the main World of Warcraft directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Cataclysm\World of Warcraft and double clicking it. Once you have completed the patch you can remove it from your World of Warcraft folder and move on to the next one. Do this for all of the patches until you have a WoW Client of 4.0.6. If you have an error while patching you may need to disable your antivirus or "Run As Administrator" These are pretty fast patches, and as soon as they complete they will again try to open the Cataclysm WoW launcher and patch an unwanted patch.

Step 6. You are almost done. All you have to do now is download this file. This will fix any error like 121..

Download fix

Extract this file and then move and replace all of the files that were in the compressed zip into your World of Warcraft main directory. C:\Program Files (x86)\Cataclysm\World of Warcraft

Step 7 .You now have a working client of Cataclysm version 4.0.6a that is 100% ready for play :D

Installing .MPQ patches:

1. Download the patch you need. (The patches are the .MPQ files like this 'wow-0-14545-Win-final.MPQ')

2. Copy the file to the World of Warcraft folder. (You can save the file there when downloading)

3. Rename the file to wow-patch.MPQ

4. Run Blizzard Updater.exe - Blizzard Updater.app if you're on a Mac - (Right click, Run as administrator if you're on Win7 or Vista)

Error 121 0×8510079 Version Mismatch WoW.exe or “Wrong number of columns”

Blizzard claims that most users will get this error when installing an old expansion on top of Wow 4.0 and/or using system restore. This is because older gamer files will get into the World of Warcraft folder. Here are some solutions that Blizzard has recommended.

Step 1. Run the world of warcraft repair tool. You can find this by going to your World of Warcraft folder. For me it is located “C:\Users\Public\Games”. It can vary depending on the user. When you reach the folder run “repair.exe” and follow the instructions that you will be provided. Blizzard admits to it having a low but still existant success rate for this issue. Good luck.
Step 2. Remove and reinstall World of Warcraft by using the disc or the 4.0 installer.

If you still have issues then it would be best for you to post it on the forum at Blizzard and in the comments section below so you can receive support.

WoW Error 131

Your game files are usually courrupted when you receive this error message.

Step 3. Read Blizzard’s support post here if you are still having problems. Also let us know by posting below.

Wow Error #132 Fatal Exception 0×8510084 0xC0000005 0×20000000

This problem is extremely vaue with all kinds of possibilities.

Step 0. Verify that you meet all the system requirements located at the bottom of this article.

Step 1. Undo any overclocking that you have done and verify that your computer temperatures are within the acceptable rated levels.

Step 2. Update your motherboard, audio and video card drivers, as well as your BIOS. Update DirectX and OpenGL as well.

Step 3. Delete all your temporary files,as well as any WoW files such as the WoW cache, and the files in your WTF folders. (These folders may not exist yet depending on when something went wrong.)

Step 4. Disable all your WoW addons and remove them out of the folder.

Step 5. Run a RAM testing tool Blizzard recommends using the Microsoft Memory testing tool here. Be sure to run the extended test by pressing T while the Windows Memory Diagnostic is running.

Step 6. Verify that your memory is running at the correct voltage. Many computers (especially ones built by users) have their bios auto-detect the voltage. This can create issues for the user. We recommend that you manually set your voltage at the level recommended by the memory manufacturer. Be sure to check with your motherboard manufacturer as well.

Step 7. Try following additional steps that Blizzard has outlined here to fix Error #132. Let us know what worked for you since this error is so vague at the moment.

Error 134 0×8510086 Fatal Condition

This can be related to a security problem and/or a corrupted or missing game file. Try the game after performing each of these steps.

Good luck.

Step 2. Disable your firewall and antivirus. Add WoW to the list of exceptions. This includes router firewalls too if necessary.

Step 3. Reinstall WoW.
